INTERNATIONAL ASIAN WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Hello, my name is Aziz and welcome to my blog. I am a photographer & artist who specializes in capturing cool portraits and intimate moments; when you pull them together they tell a special story – your wedding day!

This is not a job – it’s a passion! All you need is a handful of vision, flair, and some brides & grooms who do not do ‘ordinary’. The result? Something that will put a big toothy smile on your face!

This blog is more laid back & relaxed than my website. It’s going to show you what goes on behind the scenes and give the photos more depth and character. It will be ever changing (subtly) and is influenced by new experiences and inspiration – in short YOU!!!!

So tell me what you think, what you like, what you dream! I am London based, but it does not matter where you are - if these images move you then I am happy to travel anywhere in the world to shoot your event (as long as it’s some where nice). So just give me a shout!

THE BEACH more: international

This beach is not the famous ‘beach’ in Thailand, but in Yzerfontein, which is in about a 2 hour drive from Cape Town.

The drive itself is amazing and the shot of the trees just gives you an idea of what this part of the world is like.

This sunset is coolio!

It’s very refreshing to shoot something different  - and this wedding was very different from the stuff I normally shoot in London. Not different in terms of settings, but just how everyone is just so chilled!

The wedding took place at Oudekraal Nature Reserve, which is part of the greater Table Mountain National Park. The preps took place at the Twelve Apostles.

Lucy Liu?

It was such a nice informal day…….this is where the cocktail reception took place…..

……..and this is the head table!

Once the speeches are done it’s time to get the party started!

CATHERINE + SAUL more: international

Here’s another relaxed wedding – this is a wedding which took place in Boschendal.

The settings are pretty amazing, blue skies, mountains in the background, and of course a relaxed crowd.

This was a picnic wedding and there was a fresh hamper for every two guests…….

……unless you’re a kid and your get your own special one!

After lunch you just enjoy the sun and chill with your boys…..

…likewise, Catherine was having some quality time with her gals!

KRISHIKA + KRISHNA (SO NICE YOU ALMOST SAY IT TWICE!) more: weddings

MAKE UP AMBREEN

This was quite a challenging shoot! Firstly, The traffic was a nightmare – so just over 1 hour’s journey was taking 3 hours! So you can imagine everything running late (fortunately, I was given a heads up so took a different route).

Secondly, the couple had booked into quite a swanky hotel – which suffered a power failure, so they had to decamp last minute to the Hilton in Croydon. When I got to the Hilton, the foyer was packed with people – Tesco were having a Christmas staff party!!!!!!!

So you get the idea, not the ideal start. To be honest, I was scratching my head thinking of what to do – but then I took one look at Krishika, who was not fazed and had placed her confidence in me – so if she was game on so was I, and here we go!

So on with the introductions, here’s Krishika

And here’s Krishna. These shots were taken in a small corner where they serve breakfast (even had a waiter asking if we needed help – lol)

It’s been a while since I posted a straight B&W image, but my gal was working it real good!

And here is missy in the underground car park. I guess the moral of the story is that it does not matter where you are, or what you wear, it’s really all about YOU!!!!!
